I love art. It allows me to explore how I wish to express myself and explore what I find interesting. With the Creative freedom art allows me, I can display my own artistic expression and create what I want to see in the world. And more than anything, Art gives me something to strive for and a reason to get up in the morning.
As a Lifelong Ohio Resident, I have always been fascinated by art ever since a young age. Specifically in pop culture art, I found immense wonder, excitement, and purpose in the craft. So much so that I dedicated my life to studying its mechanisms and honing my skills. I am doing so at the Cleveland Institute of Art, where I am currently a junior in the Illustration Department, from which I am projected to receive my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration.
I have found continual inspiration from mediums such as comic books, video games, movies, and genres such as Science fiction and Fantasy. As well as more nuanced cultural landmarks of the Cleveland area such as architecture, fashion, and music.
